Serving the People of Yorkshire and the Humber

Hawes - 12th August, 2011

Timothy received a warm welcome on a visit to Gayle Mill, a deservedly popular tourist attraction in North Yorkshire.  He was particularly pleased that the European Union Agricultural fund in part supports the Mill and did help towards its regeneration.  It's nice to see something coming back to help Yorkshire!

The Mill has been through a real tapestry of different life stages: flourishing in the agricultural ages, modernising to fit into the new industrial age and now operating to encourage tourism and education into Yorkshire's past.
