David Lidington Appointed Minister for Europe

Timothy wrote to David Lidington MP on behalf of the Conservative Delegation to congratulate him on his appointment as Minister of State for Europe.
Timothy knows Mr Lidington from the time they worked together in Westminster in the late 1990s. Mr Lidington has been Member of Parliament for Aylesbury since 1992. He will work with Rt Hon William Hague in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
Mr Lidington visited Brussels and met Timothy as part of his visit. He also addressed the Conservative Delegation.
Timothy also thanked Mark Francois MP for all the hard work and assistance he provided in relation to the formation of the ECR Group, and to wish him well in his new position in the Whip’s Office.
