Conservatives Highlight Labour Red Tape

100,000 pages have been added to the EU's Acquis Communautaire over the past decade under Labour. Conservatives will be visualising this added burden to businesses, and the transfer of power to Brussels at a photo-call on Wednesday.
Leader of the Conservatives in the European Parliament, Timothy Kirkhope MEP said:
"We want to highlight the extra burden that this Labour Government is putting on businesses with national and European laws. Red tape is a major factor in preventing many businesses from recovering in this very difficult economic period."
