New Parliament Getting Organised

The European Parliament will gather for its last Plenary session of the current legislature on 14 - 16 July in Strasbourg. Following the June 4th elections the Parliament is getting ready for its next five-year term. Timothy is keen to welcome newly elected MEPs who will attend the session. One of the main acts of the Plenary session will be to elect a new President as Hans-Gert Pöttering is coming to the end of his two-and-a-half year term.
